my Valentine...

Amanda tagged me... ahhh. I love this stuff. Don't really know why, maybe it's because if forces me to reminisce and write things down... I did one similar to this not to long ago~but, what the hay. We'll do it again :)

HOW OLD IS STEPHEN: 33! old fart.
WHO EATS MORE: usually Stephen... but, give me a box of fudge cycles... I could out eat him anyday...
WHO SAID "I LOVE YOU' FIRST: hmmm. that was so long ago... he did. But I said it right back...
WHO IS TALLER: Stephen is a foot taller... nothing like kissing someone on your tippie toes..
WHO SINGS BETTER: I love Stephens voice... he is very shy about singing... but sings to the kids all the time... it's yummy.
WHO IS SMARTER: I will be the first to admit that I have lost my mind since bearing my little buggies... so, Stephen.
WHO DOES THE LAUNDRY: I loathe laundry. But, I am the only one that will do it. The only time Stephen will is if I haven't washed his police uniform for work...
WHO DOES THE DISHES: I actually like to do dishes~as long as I have a trusty dishwasher.
WHO SLEEPS ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE BED: I do... closer to rescue screaming kids..
WHO PAYS THE BILLS: Stephen. I can't. I am not disciplined enough. He's the money man.
WHO MOWS THE LAWN: Stephen mows... with Brad on his shoulders.... it's tradition.
WHO COOKS DINNER: that would be me. But Stephen makes a mean breakfast...
WHO IS MORE STUBBORN: Stephen. I am a softie... {is he going to read this?}
WHO KISSED WHO FIRST: He kissed me. I melted.
WHO ASKED WHO OUT FIRST: Stephen asked for my phone number at church and called me that same night... then we played tag for about 6 months...
WHO PROPOSED: Stephen did. He drove me up the mountians at sunset.... although~ I don't remember what he said... I just starred at my ring... :)
WHO IS MORE SENSITIVE: hmm. I will say me. But, if we talk kids or marriage... he is just as sensitive.
WHO HAS MORE FRIENDS: we really have the same friends...
WHO HAS MORE SIBLIINGS: Stephen has 5 brothers...
WHO WEARS THE PANTS: Stephen. I am a pushover...

ok. Seriously, it was hard to pick which old pics to post... so, I decided to just go one by one... I would do Stephen first.. but, when he was young his house burnt down... and took the pics with it. So, I only have a few and I need to find the box in the basement...So, I will do me first...

New Moon by Stephanie Meyer

Yes. I admit it. I am totally a vampire fan. Who woulda thought I would get into a vampire series? yeah. Not me. BUT! I love the Twilight series... and if you haven't joined the obsession... I recommend it. It's a great read...and the official release date for Breaking Dawn (book #4) will be Saturday, August 2, 2008!!

Many may not agree... but, I am TOTALLY an Edward fan. Everyone thinks Bella is an obsessed irrational girl... but, I can totally relate to that obsessed love. I am the same way... (don't judge me.... :) It's how I feel toward Stephen.... ;)

here is a tidbit from New Moon:


"Shoot," I muttered when the paper sliced my finger; I pulled it out to examine the damage. A single drop of blood oozed from the tiny cut. It all happened very quickly then. Edward threw himself at me, flinging me back across the table... I tumbled down to the floor by the piano, with my arms thrown out instinctively to catch my fall, into the jagged shards of glass. I felt the searing, stinging pain that ran from my wrist to the crease inside my elbow. Dazed and disoriented, I looked up from the bright red blood pulsing out of my arm—into the fevered eyes of the six suddenly ravenous vampires.

Brad and I went to the store today-just the two of us. It was a hoot. this kid cracks me up everyday....

Mom: "Brad, I had so much fun hanging out with you today.... thanks for being such a good kiddo..."
Brad: "Precisely mom. I had fun too."
Mom: (insert belly laughter here...) "you are a funny bug, B"
Brad: " I know mom. That word makes you laugh every time..."

Stephen was putting on his cowboy boots to shovel snow the other day and Brad walked in...

Brad: "hey dad. You wore those boots when that horse went crazy huh?"
Dad: "yep, these are the same boots..."
Brad: " I wasn't scared that day dad"
Dad: "no? "
Brad: " no dad. I wasn't scared. I was DANG really scared!!"
